Warm Canned Beer ...

Open Air St. Gallen 2001

... can only be delicious on Open Air Festivals like Open Air St. Gallen where I will go to once again tomorrow. Last exam was today. What a perfect timing!

2500 Pixels of Cliché

KangarooIt´s nearly two years now that nugob.org saw the light of day. This is article number 100 - which means that I am rather lazy in weblogging (you are so right). However, at the moment it seems that I have a screen overdose and I just prefer to go outside. There is no digital recipe to compare with this analogue antidepressant: ingridients: a campfire, a handful of nice people, barbecue, beer and guitars (happened so yesterday evening).

Next to nugob.org which becomes 100 I become 25 years next Saturday. I did not really plan anything so far but I´m sure we will celebrate into the birthday on Friday. On Saturday there will be a beer-soccer match between the second and the fourth semester (this time also with a girl´s team). So whoever wants to visit me on May 24 or 25, set off!

Furthermore my days at the Villa are numbered. I will go to a semester abroad to the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Creative Media, in Melbourne, Australia. I will leave on July 16 until January 16 2003. I am very much looking forward to this. The university is a partner institute of the FH Vorarlberg, so I saw some impressing students works. The school really looks very promising. The semester ends on November 22, so I nearly have two month left to travel around there. I bought a digital ixus for daily snapshots, so I am sure you will find a more regular logging then. I just hope that my official letter of acceptance or enrolement will arrive soon from RMIT which I need for my student visum. I am still on tenterhooks because of this. Well, that´s the latest news so far. Sorry for the kangaroo, but I did not find a better cliché for Australia.

Morgen wird bizarre

Tomorrow we will start our trip to the Bizarre Festival near Weeze. Some sounds can be found on bizarre radio. Let´s see if it can match with Open Air St. Gallen.

Wasser zu Wein

Tell Me the Way to the Next ...

»Sie haben im Moment eine Blutalkoholkonzentration von Promille 5.88.
Sie sind leider tot

Loser again. Nice booze, but what a price!

Another fine guide through the perfidies of life once told me:

»Wir empfehlen für die Verbindung von Regenmäntel auf/mit Beton, Stein, Zement, Gips (Punktverklebung, Spülmaschinenfest) folgende Produkte: Alleskleber Kraft.«

The shocking forthright outspoken unvarnished plain truth. No one ever tell me again that the internet does not make sense! I saw the Light!

Neuer Klebefall!

Ich bin der Mathematiklehrerin

According to a study of the teacher training college Freiburg women are the better math teachers. Well, I always knew it - unfortunately I got a math test on Monday. Teacher: Mr. Moor. It´s going to be thrilling then.

The Hittisau Experience

Yesterday, on Sunday, I woke up at 8.30 am (on Sunday!) because we we went to Hittisau which is a small village in the Bregenzer Wald to go to a "tractor skill contest" (I´m serious). I think I don´t have to say any more about this - just wait for my pictures. It´s "luschtig xi"!

This weekend I was hardly at home because all my fellow lodgers were at their families´. Well, actually I thought this is a good chance to do something for school. It was definitely not. On Friday I made a pub tour through Dornbirn with Tina, a fellow student, and Andi Sexgang - the singer of the Sex Gang Children and a founder of Gothic music - who is a friend of her from London. Well, it all ended with some Absinth. zzz-zap! On Saturday we were at Tina´s place to have some beers and Obstler.

Then on Sunday there was this tractor competition and tonight we will meet at our house.

So much about studying (something has to change).
