Melbourne

Just a few first impressions about Melbourne. It's a nice and refreshing young city, i.e. there are a lot of young people on the streets. This is hardly surprising as RMIT alone got about 67000 students and it's only one of three big universities. Nevertheless studying at Creative Media is only in small groups. My department is in the city campus. 

The international flair of Melbourne is very obvious. There is a large number of Asian people living here. In my course most students are not from Australia but from a partner university in Malaysia who started their studies there to complete the last two years here in Melbourne.

This is Flinders Station, a large railway station in the center of Melbourne. All of these pictures are just a seiral of snapshots, but I think you get kind of an impression where I live now.
