The thermal MÄori village Whakarewarewa (or Te Whakarewarewatanga - o - te - Ope - a - Waihiao) in the geothermal area of Rotorua on the North Island of New Zealand. If you ever happen to be in Rotorua I strongly recommend you to visit this beautiful and friendly living village. This was on our first trip to New Zealand in 2005, just three months before we decided to live in New Zealand.
Picton, the ferry harbour that connects the North and South Island of New Zealand. We visited Picton a lot of times when we used to live in Nelson (it's a good 2 hour drive). This picture is from our first visit when we arrived in Nelson in December 2005 and discovered the area around.
